This type of battery, that also is of type VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead-Acid), has the electrolyte fixed to Gel form, in a thixotropic structure. This way the acid adheres more homogenous to the lead plate throughout the totality of battery active life. That is the reason why is obtained excellent values of capacity all along the service life of the battery.
